Schedule of Tuition and Fees 2010-2011
Longview offers three main educational tracks. Each family can choose the track which best fits with its educational approach. Individuation and customization is also possible within each track.
Sudbury/Unschooling: Students have the most ability to choose their own educational paths. Students can take as few or as many classes as they so choose.
Exposure: Students take classes in a range of academics but are required to do limited homework.
Regents: Students take Regents classes and exams, and are regularly required to complete homework assignments.

Siblings: A family’s 2nd child in the school pays 75% and 3rd, 4th, etc. pays 50% tuition.
Financial Aid: Longview has a policy of not turning interested students away based upon financial need. For students qualifying for financial aid, the tuition rate is a sliding scale. Families must fill out the Longview Financial Aid form (available upon request). Minimum tuition is $2,000 per student (no sibling discount). Barter is typically required for families who qualify for tuition reduction.

Payment Schedule
Monthly, semi-annual or annual payment schedules are available. Minimum three months tuition payment is required by June 10, 2010 or upon enrollment.
Refund Policy
Regardless of tuition payment schedule, enrollment commits families to paying tuition (based upon number of days of attendance for which s/he registers) for the entire school year.
Payment Procedure
Each family is required to sign a commitment with FACTS, a tuition management service which requires automated payments, and to pay the annual fee of not more than $50 for this service.
Fundraising
Each family is required to participate in two fundraisers each school year and to fundraise by selling a minimum of $300 in something of the school’s choice ($400 if two enrolled children, $500 if three or more enrolled children). Any family which does not meet the minimum must meet the requirement by purchasing the items itself.
